Hi friends — I’m Kari Brunson Wright.

I’m a psycho-spiritual leadership coach and consultant, longtime food entrepreneur, and longtime student of self-nourishment. I’m also a former professional ballerina, and mama to two kids just 19 months apart.

For decades, I’ve been exploring what wellness actually means — not as a checklist, but as something you feel in your body, your energy, and your choices. Through food, movement, community, spiritual practice, business, and motherhood, I’ve learned that true wellness doesn’t follow a formula. It’s a recipe you create yourself.

This newsletter is for people who hold a lot — work, family, leadership, creativity — and are ready to start caring for themselves with intention. It’s for those who want steadiness, clarity, and self-trust, without adding one more thing to their to-do list.

That’s why I created The Recipe for Being Well — a space to explore self-nourishment as a daily practice, to reflect on what works for you, and to bring more alignment, energy, and authenticity into your life.

What You’ll Find Here

Inside, I share what’s real, what’s working, and what I’m learning along the way:

  • Coaching insights on personal growth, values-based leadership, and clarity in work and life

  • Recipes from my kitchen — high-protein, vegetable-forward, flavor-packed, and unfussy

  • Tools and practices to support your energy, well-being, and nervous system

  • Writing prompts, reflections, and spiritual explorations

  • A peek into my life: what I’m reading, cooking, and integrating

This is where self-nourishment meets lived wisdom — a place to notice, reflect, and take little steps that actually matter.

Free vs. Paid Subscriptions

Free Subscribers

  • Around two emails per month

  • “Edit-style” letters sharing what I’m exploring, reading, cooking, and integrating

Paid Subscribers — $5/month or $50/year

  • Weekly letters designed to help you feel grounded, clear, and supported

  • Practical recipes from my kitchen, coaching tools, and psycho-spiritual practices you can actually use

  • Essays and deeper dives into The Recipe for Being Well framework

  • A quieter, more intentional space for reflection, integration, and early access to offerings

If you’ve been reading for a while and feeling quietly supported, the paid subscription is a way to go deeper — with consistent guidance and practical tools to make self-nourishment a real, lived practice.

Thanks so much for being here.

XO,
KBW
